A young IDF soldier was critically wounded after being stabbed multiple times in a terror attack at Tel Aviv’s Hahagana train station on Monday afternoon. Police confirmed the attack was a politically motivated terrorist attack.

Student protests break out over Kafr Kanna shooting
Hundreds of students in Sakhnin, an Arab town in Israel’s northern district, left their schools on Monday to join protests against the controversial shooting of Khair Hamdan in Kafr Kanna that occurred Friday. The protesters waved Palestinian flags and called for the punishment of the police officers involved in the shooting. Additional students protests are expected to occur in Kafr Kanna on Monday afternoon.

Suspicious object thrown at police car on Route 4, near Fureidis
A suspicious object was found near the Israeli Arab town of Fureidis on Sunday. Eyewitnesses said the object was an explosive device, which had been thrown at police cars. Earlier Sunday, a demonstration was held at the main square of Fureidis, attended by some 100 people.

Navy fires at Palestinian boat seen carrying cargo from Sinai, hit detected
Israeli Navy troops spotted a suspicious fishing boat that was carrying cargo, sailing from the coast of the southern Gaza Strip towards Egypt, and opened fire after it ignored calls to stop, as part of an arrest procedure. A direct hit was detected.

Several explosive devices seized in Bat Yam
Several explosive devices were seized in Bat Yam on Sunday following a special operation of the Yamar investigative unit of the Tel Aviv police. Police sappers are at the scene and are attempting to detonate the explosives. The police arrested several people suspected of being in possession of the devices

Masked men attacked Jewish driver at entrance to Tayibe; driver escaped, vehicle torched
Masked men attacked a Jewish driver on Route 444, at the entrance to Tayibe on Sunday. The man, a resident of the Sharon area, managed to escape the scene. The perpetrators later set the abandoned vehicle on fire. Police forces arrived at the scene and took the driver to the police station, where he filed a complaint about the incident. Suspects have yet to be apprehended.

Unknown assailants threw rocks and a Molotov cocktail at a woman driving in the area of Ma’ale Shomron in the West Bank on Sunday. She was not injured, but damage was caused to the vehicle.

Thousands protesting in Kafr Kanna, Molotov Cocktails thrown at police
Thousands of demonstrators gathered on the main road of Kafr Kanna in the Lower Galilee on Saturday, protesting against the police shooting of Khair Hamdan. The protestors waved pictures of Hamdan, as well as Palestinian flags. They urged to expel both the police officers who shot Hamdan and Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch. Dozens of youths are also rioting at the entrance of Kafr Kanna, where they are throwing rocks and Molotov cocktails at officers.
