When Izzy Ezagui was 18, he came to Israel to join the IDF. He was fighting near Gaza border during Operation Cast Lead when a mortar hit him and tore his arm off. But Izzy would not let his missing arm deter him. He fought to be allowed back into combat. After an intense recovery period, and with much determination, Izzy returned, becoming the only one-armed special forces sharpshooter.
